Pa model build

This is something that we were doing at school. This topic was we were constructing a pa then made an explanation on it

How to build a Pa model

Have you ever asked yourself do I make a paper mache pa?

The maori used to live in or use as a defence for a location. (Made usually on a hill) The pa contains defences inside of it like cannons or towers. It also contains maori huts and a marare.

The first step of making a pa is to plan what you are going to build on a piece of paper. What you are going to plan.

Now cut out cardboard to fit the size you're going to make the pa. Next you it rip or cut strips of paper a glue them to the foundation covering it in strips. Make hills to give your pa a realistic look by scrunching up paper and gluing it on. After you finished wait for it to dry.

The next step is to start picking out which paints to don your pa with. Pa’s are usually found by rivers and lakes for the maori to supply fresh water with. Paint the water blue like all water is then paint the bank brown. If you already have huts, a marae, towers or any building of some sort paint that the suitable colour as well.

After that start finding sticks, leaves moss, anything that you will use for your fence to cover the pa, buildings, cooking stations, storage (etc) Soon as your paint dries the connecting to your landscape will be glued down. The best options are either a hot glue gun or pva glue.

Finally after the glue that you used hardened in place and your pa is painted and edited with huts a marare fences Kumara pits (ETC) your pa that you made is finally done for you to place it on a table, show it to your friends or parents and keep it on display in your room, classroom or living room.

Soccer training

Just a soccer game

Soccer Training/ Little game

A perfect day, Saturday. In the car with to surprise guests with me my nephew Paige and Levi. Staggering out of the Ute because of a late night sleep and forgot until morning to come I was greeted by my team. Our coach Allan had a peculiar look on his face as if he'd seen Paige and Levi before. Suddenly it clicked in his head. He gave the 2 a big greeting for a couple of seconds, after we were straight into it. Commencing off with ball control strolling around cones trying to avoid hitting the small obstacles. Soon after the first activity Allan added a new part to the course, scoring.

Lining up for a turn as I glare at Pranav as his turn was in progress. I was 2 people away. Advarn Levi and me. Giggling a bit as someone hit the side of the goal and hit a person in the back turning back to look at the cones I was in front of the queue. I was soon past the last cone behind Levi as we were a few metres away from goal. Preparing my shot as my foot was behind me, and strike right under the ball. Peering back at the goal as I watch the ball hit Levi in the back. Sprinting to the ball again striking it again with a feeling that floated around my head, whispering friendly fire. Finishing up with a final goal it was game time. Taking  striker position, awaiting the pass from Levi, the whistle blew. Booting the ball to wade on the sideline. Slowing marking one of the opposition the ball skimmed my hair.

Right behind me, Levi stopped the ball. Slowly continuing up the sideline with Tuirangi sprinting to the ball preparing a slide tackle. Observing the area for the nearest teammate. With Levi back at defending position and the nearest teammate was by the oppositions goal, I decided to bring it up. Running out of sideline as I was nearly at the end I strike the ball over in front of goal. Watching was all I could do for the next 5 seconds as the ball sat there motionless till goalkeeper kicked it back. Nearing 12:30, the final minute remaining. Goes out game over, Goal game over. Goalkeeper kicked it down, every striker and midfield sprinting at the ball. First to the ball kicking it down to Levi but soon after the ball was kicked out of his legs and over the line. Allan calling us in just to say good game and practice next week.

Writing
Pranav and I strolled into the lounge for an epic game session of a video game Black Ops 3. I grip Pranavs controller as he sets up the game to zombies with no sound except the tvs. Pressing the button the countdown started. The feeling of shredding the old wrinkled, disease carrying people of the map as round one starts. Starting of with a 9mm bullet firing gun cocking it ready to be fired. The reanimated corpses were already on the run tearing down the barriers. Glaring at Pranav through my iron sights as he bypassed the flesh eaters. Opening the first door as I kissed 500 points goodbye.

Sprinting to the next buy able door as Pranav held of the zombies. “Just a few more secON!” Just before I could finish my sentence a zombie grabbed me with his old rotten hand from behind. Falling to the floor with Pranav on his last mag. On the ground lying, shocked on what happened. Rivulets of my blood slowly drifted to Pranav feet as a few zombies remained. On my final seconds of life with a couple of zombies walking and Pranav in the corner it was time to say goodbye.

With 1 survivor left on the map, Pranav had to finish the round. Spectating him to watch his back. Fending of the last zombies with his knife the round ended to a new but it had a twist. In the background of 7 vicious carnivores was a Margwa. A 4 meter high 3 headed humanoid creature with octopus arms out for us. Slowly backing up from the thing while the zombies were closing in their was no hope. Each second was tormenting as each second was scarce. It was too late. The zombies were 1 meter away from us till the Margwa raised his tentacles then it was all over. The thing squashed us.

Dream giver_Jamie

This is my story about what happened in the animation dream giver

Dream Giver
One night a man with dragonfly like wings and holding a stick attached to a cloth wrapped up called the dream giver opened an unlocked window and sneaked into a bedroom with 3 children sleeping. The dream giver takes his sack off his stick to reveal glowing eggs. Gripping the eggs firmly in his hand he broke it in half and poured it on a piece of ballet shoes. He continued to break the eggs on many objects till there were 2 left. He forgot about his dream eggs till one of the kids kicked the egg of his bed. A bright yellow glow followed by a sound caught the dream givers attention. He turned around to see the egg smashed on a book filled with evil. The boys dream suddenly was sucked in the book as it was the dream givers work to fix. The boy was in a forest which have been a place of civilization long ago. Peering over every corner and stone he leaned on a stone which fell and awake a monster from his slumber. The boy dashed through the trees till he reached a cliff. His head rotated to see the thing 20 meters away from him staring at him. The dream giver just arrived in time as the monster started to sprint at him. The dream catcher through a tree bomb to trap the monster preventing it from touching the boy. The boy looked in shock as he saw the monster under a tree motionless. The boy woke up gazing at the book to find he was in the book as the dream giver flew away.
